MUNLAWS
Model United Nations Club of the Faculty of Law from the University of Ljubljana (MUNLawS) is cordially inviting all students, keen on enhancing their knowledge of diplomacy, international law and international relations - to attend our Model UN Conference, MUNLawS which will be held between 25th and 29th of October at the Faculty of Law, University of Ljubljana.
Model United Nations is an academic simulation of the debates and negotiations taking place in United Nations bodies. The goal of the sole simulation is a productive debate on current world issues in different councils and committees and bringing about a resolution on each topic.
At what is to be the biggest conference of this scale in our region, students will have a unique opportunity to test their rhetorical and diplomatic skills, build a network of acquaintances and experience Ljubljana that is known for being one of the most diverse and lively European cities.
Students will participate in three different simulations, namely of the United Nations Security Council, the International Court of Justice and the Human Rights Council.
