Chair of International Law
Its core area is international law and all related subjects. Graduate courses are: Public International Law (Fourth Year), elective courses are Diplomatic and Consulary Law, International Good Neighborly Relations Law, International Organizations and The Law of the Sea. The Chair offers several courses in English for Erasmus Socrates exchange program students: Public International Law, Diplomatic and Consular Law, International Organizations, International Humanitarian Law and the Law of the Sea. The chair offers also courses for postgraduate students where several distinguished visiting professors participate. The chair works together with the Institut for International Law, part of which is UN Depositary Library. The members of the Chair and Institute are engaged in teaching and research activities which often include various legal opinions and research, academic seminars and conferences.
The head of the chair is professor Mirjam Škrk who succeded professor Danilo Turk, current President of Slovenia.
