THREE NEW VACANCIES FOR DOCTORAL RESEARCHERS

The Leuven Centre for Global Governance Studies is carrying out interdisciplinary projects on global governance and international and EU law. We are looking for highly qualified candidates for the following three vacancies:

PhD POSITION: “THE UNITED STATES' INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL CONTESTATION OF SUSTAINABILITY AND/OR TRADE NORMS”   The Leuven Centre for Global Governance Studies and the Leuven International and European Studies research group (LINES) search a dynamic and motivated full-time researcher to pursue a PhD in the context of an ambitious six-year interdisciplinary research programme on connectivity, contestation and cooperation in global governance (CONNECTIVITY).The PhD researcher will focus on the United States, including internal dynamics, external activities and their interaction. S/he will focus on sustainability and/or trade policy and politics. The exact focus will be identified jointly with the supervisor, Prof Dr Katja Biedenkopf. RESEARCHER H2020 EUROPEAN PROJECT ON RULE OF LAW AND DEMOCRACY   The Leuven Centre for Global Governance Studies is looking for a highly motivated individual for the 4-year RECONNECT Horizon 2020 project on rule of law and democracy in the European Union. The selected candidate will combine excellent academic research skills with a strong interest in policy-oriented research.You can find more information here

DOCTORAL RESEARCHER IN INTERNATIONAL LAW   For the Leuven Centre for Global Governance Studies and the Institute for International Law we are looking for a dynamic and motivated full-time researcher to support the teaching and research within the field of public international law and the law of international organizations.
