WELCOME TO THE FACULTY OF LAW IN LJUBLJANA

The Faculty of Law in Ljubljana is one of the founding faculties of the University of Ljubljana and the oldest and the largest law faculty in Slovenia. It offers its students an intellectually exciting learning environment with high academic standards. The faculty promotes both legal knowledge and critical thought.

The Faculty of Law in Ljubljana is housed in a renovated facility and provides a distinguished and creative academic setting.

The faculty has established international exchange agreements with more than 60 partner universities and faculties of law in and outside of Europe. Annually the faculty receives about 50 exchange students, who spend one or two semesters in Ljubljana, through the Erasmus, Erasmus Mundus, and CEEPUS programmes and bilateral exchange agreements.

In order to attract a high number of foreign students and further strengthen its international ties, the faculty has introduced courses (conducted in English) especially designed for exchange students.
