Welcome Reception for Incoming Exchange Students 2018/19

On Tuesday, 2 October 2018, the Faculty of Law in Ljubljana hosted a welcome reception for international exchange law students coming to Ljubljana for the first semester of the 2018/19 academic year. 76 students from 21 different countries have chosen our Faculty as their exchange host institution. Most of them have come to Ljubljana in the frame of the ERASMUS+ exchange programme.

Students were first given a warm welcome by Associate Professor Jerca Kramberger Škerl (Vice-Dean) and Assistant Professor Luka Tičar (Erasmus Coordinator). Then, Darja Rabzelj (Head of the Faculty’s International Relations Office) presented the University of Ljubljana and explained how classes and examinations are organised at the Faculty of Law. Later on, Alenka Peterka (Deputy Head of the Library) spoke about the Faculty's library and their services. At the end, Sara Mitrović (Coordinator of the Faculty’s International Students Buddy Programme) gave an overview of numerous opportunities for social and sports activities. On 5 October, students were also invited to attend a whole day long excursion to Kozjansko region (eastern part of Slovenia).
