Call for enrolment into Doctoral programme in Legal studies 2022/2023

The Call for enrollment into Doctoral Study Programmes for the Academic Year 2022/2023 is published on the website of Ljubljana University Doctoral School https://www.uni-lj.si/study/doctoral_school/call/call2223/ .

Candidates are invited to submit their application for enrolment into doctoral programme via the eVŠ web portal at https://portal.evs.gov.si/prijava/?lang=en . The website also contains detailed instructions for completing the application form in English language as well as submitting evidence and supporting material.

The application deadline for enrolment into Doctoral programme in Legal studies is Friday, 19 August 2022.

In accordance with Article 108 of the Act Determining Temporary Measures to Mitigate and Remedy the Consequences of COVID-19, applications for enrolment and all the required supporting documents should be submitted online via the eVŠ information system, if the applicant’s identity can be determined. The applicant’s identity will be verified as follows:

Verification of the identity of candidates, who are citizens of Slovenia, will be based on the EMŠO.

Candidates who are not citizens of the Republic of Slovenia and are citizens of an EU Member State enclose an identity card or passport (page with personal data, which should show the name, surname, date, place of birth and citizenship).

Citizens of a non-EU country enclose a passport (page with the personal data, showing the name, surname, date, place of birth and citizenship).

By enclosing this document, candidat agrees that the higher education institution can use it for the purpose of enrollment procedures and must delete it after the completion of these procedures.

Only the necessary identification data should be visible on the sent document. Hide the data that are not required for identification (eg ID, signature, and photograph) with a photo processing program (eg Painter, Power Point, any other program or application on your smartphone) and make scan with a watermark that clearly states that it is a copy and for what purpose it may be used.

The application for enrolment must be accompanied by the following documents:

In addition to scan of personal documet, also CV with bibliography and a chronological record of all previous educations, copies of all diplomas obtained or certificate of graduation, if the document has yet not been issued, official transcript of records of all prior educations with average grade of exams, consent to Ph.D. study mentorship with mentor`s signature (form b3.mentorship.proposal.doc) and  preliminary draft of the planned PhD dissertation,  while candidates who have obtained their professional or scientific title abroad must also provide the decision on the recognition of their qualification for the purpose of continuing education at the Ljubljana University Faculty of Law.

An information day for the doctoral study programme will be held on 19 May 2022. More detailed information on the information day will be published in due course.

The enrolment will take place after the application deadline and will be completed by 30 September 2022.
