Ljubljana Law Review
The Ljubljana Law Review (LLR) is a peer-reviewed open-access journal that publishes scholarly articles spanning all areas of law. Published independently by the Faculty of Law, the journal has a rich history dating back to 1921, when it was first established under its Slovenian name, Zbornik znanstvenih razprav. Over the decades, LLR has become a respected voice in the legal academic community, with its work indexed in leading databases such as the Index to Foreign Legal Periodicals, Directory of Open Access Journals, Social Sciences Research Network, ProQuest, and Google Scholar.
LLR publishes annually, supplemented by special thematic issues, and showcases rigorous, peer-reviewed articles that highlight significant academic contributions across diverse legal disciplines. Articles are published in Slovenian or English (as of 2015), making them accessible to both local and global audiences.
As an open-access journal, LLR ensures that its content is freely available to everyone, without subscription fees or other access barriers. Readers are welcome to download, share, print, and utilize the full texts of its articles for lawful purposes under the journal’s licensing terms. This commitment to accessibility fosters the broad dissemination of knowledge and supports the global exchange of legal ideas.
With nearly a century of excellence, LLR continues to be a vital platform for advancing legal scholarship and connecting academics, practitioners, and students worldwide.
