Legal clinics at the Faculty of Law have been an invaluable platform for bridging theoretical knowledge with practical experience, particularly in fields such as migration law, anti-discrimination, environmental law, and more. Until the 2019/2020 academic year, all legal clinics were offered exclusively as extra-curricular activities. However, starting in the 2020/2021 academic year, select legal clinics, evaluated by the Committee for Academic Affairs and assigned 4 ECTS, have been integrated into the curriculum. These are offered under the elective courses "Legal Skills in Practice - Legal Clinic I" (first cycle) and "Legal Skills in Practice - Legal Clinic II" (second cycle).

Legal clinics evaluated with fewer than 4 ECTS credits remain available as extra-curricular activities, allowing flexibility and accessibility for students interested in gaining hands-on legal experience. These clinics play a pivotal role in equipping students with practical skills, fostering their understanding of real-world legal challenges, and enabling them to contribute meaningfully to society. By addressing pressing issues such as social and labour rights, refugee rights, anti-discrimination policies, and access to justice, legal clinics not only enhance students' learning but also empower them to make a tangible impact within their communities.
