Lora Briški

Lora Briški is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Criminal Law. After completing her master’s degree in law, she worked as a junior researcher at the Institute of Criminology at the Faculty of Law, where she participated in research projects on decision-making in the criminal justice system, sexual offences and the reform of sexual criminal law, penal policy concerning different types of crime, and the legal aspects of triage during the COVID-19 epidemic. In 2023, she obtained her PhD with the dissertation “Modifying the dispute parameters in criminal procedure” and, in the same year, took up a position at the Faculty of Law, University of Ljubljana. She remains actively involved in several research projects, continuing her collaboration with the Institute of Criminology at the Faculty of Law. Her teaching and research focus primarily on criminal procedure law and criminology.
