Project Description

The project is intended to research the legal problems of young companies (start-ups) by students of the Faculty of Law in Ljubljana. It will be completed in cooperation with students of the Faculty of Computer Science and Informatics, with the establishment of a web portal presenting legal problems and their solutions. The first phase of the project will be devoted to acquiring knowledge and experience in the legal fields of commercial, corporate, labor, and intellectual property law, which are particularly relevant to entrepreneurs. We will gain knowledge primarily from VISIONECT, an example of a successful company that started as a start-up. We will also learn about legal issues within the framework of the Ljubljana University Incubator (LUI), which is home to many start-ups at the beginning of their journey. The second phase of the project will be carried out in collaboration with students from the Faculty of Computer and Information Science, with whom we will set up a web portal providing information on Slovenian start-ups, relevant legislation, answers to frequently asked legal questions, advice, and thematic articles in which we will share the knowledge we have acquired.
