The project team analyzes the situation at Alukomen Holding d.d. from a legal and economic perspective in connection with the Dunajski Kristali construction project. From a financial and contract law perspective, students are examining the relevant agreements between Alukomen d.d., Mabra inženiring d.o.o. (hereinafter Mabra), and the Republic of Slovenia. Alukomen d.d. concluded a deal with Mabra for the performance of work related to the activities of Alukomen d.d. on the Dunajski Kristali buildings. Still, Alukomen did not receive payment for the work performed. The Group will examine the reasons for the non-payment under the preliminary exchange agreement between Mabra and the Republic of Slovenia. Alukomen d.d. was one of six subcontractors that established the company D-kristali d.o.o. to secure their claims against Mabra. Due to liquidity problems, Alukomen had to close its doors. A new company, Alukomen Holding d.d., was established to maintain production. The group of students respects their efforts to preserve jobs and wishes to contribute to the company's good business performance in the future.
