PAM, as part of its role as leading international parliamentary organization in the Euro-Mediterranean and the Gulf regions, particularly in promoting cooperation and dialogue among its Member States, wishes to facilitate further interaction within and among students, young researchers and universities, by sharing this offer through its established Academic Platform, and keeping its commitment to facilitate mobility for students in the region, as well as contributing to the academic sector by offering the PAM Secretariat’s experience to researchers, PhD and Master Students.

It is therefore, with a great pleasure, that I am writing to you to announce the opening of several internship positions at the Parliamentary Assembly of the Mediterranean (PAM) Regional Office in Naples, Italy or at its new Center for International Studies (CIS) in the Republic of San Marino.

Each internship, which lasts from a minimum of four to a maximum of twelve months, will be offered on a rolling basis, and with starting programmes in January, April, and September of each year, however PAM may recruit interns during other months depending on need.

The interns will be supervised by a PAM professional staff member, and serve as Junior Political Researcher dealing with programs, events and research developed within the framework of one of the three Standing Committees of PAM (1st Political and Security; 2nd Economy and Environment; 3rd Dialogue among Civilizations, Human Rights and Migration), as well as Communication, Public Information and Social Media. Internships are open to all nationalities.

You can find the terms of reference for the internship positions in the attached documents.
