Kos Marjan

Marjan Kos is an assistant professor and head of the Department of Administrative Law. He joined the Faculty as a teaching assistant at the Chair of Constitutional Law in 2022 and moved to Administrative law in 2022. In 2023 he defended his PhD written in English on »Differentiation in Fundamental Rights Protection in the European Union in the Light of Asymmetric Federalism« at the Faculty of Law. In his teaching and research, he specialises in European Union law, fundamental rights protection in the European Union and the member states, administrative procedural law, public administration, tax law and public institutions. He participates in several research projects and is also a member of the board at Transparency International Slovenia, secretary at the Slovenian Constitutional Law Association and secretary at Club Alumni of the Faculty of Law. In 2022 he established a legal clinic on »Transparency and integrity in the public and private sector. He is also a mentor for the Faculty's moot court teams at the »Helga Pedersen Moot Court Competition« on the law of the European Convention on Human Rights and »Sports Law Arbitration Moot« on sports arbitration.
