The Workshop

The University of Ljubljana's Faculty of Law, part of The Guild of Research-Intensive Universities, is hosting a doctoral workshop on legal institutions that safeguard the rule of law. The event aims to discuss challenges to the rule of law amid societal changes like global conflicts, climate crises, health emergencies, and trade disputes. European societies also face issues such as housing shortages, ageing populations, care commitments, and new forms of work. Doctoral candidates will present (10 minutes) and discuss their research with peers and experts from The Guild’s European Law Departments and Faculties. The workshop provides opportunities to enhance English presentation skills, engage in academic critique, and build academic connections in Europe.
